High Crossing is the name of a place where Tuckerton Stage Road and High Crossing Road intersect the old CNJ railroad tracks. This area should be avoided because large pools of standing water and muddy ruts make it difficult for the average car.

On High Crossing Road between Tuckerton Stage and Carranza Road lies the remains of an old sawmill, accessible by car and on foot via the Batona (BAck TO NAture) Trail. It sits almost directly south of the Caranza Monument.
